This was a concept re-design for Western Washington's University Art Gallery. The idea was built around a forum of exchange; exchange of information and ideas. The gallery creates a safe place for exchange to occur, and I wanted that reflected in the mark. As the the two squares intersect they exchange corners creating a unique space in the middle. The mark also includes a "W" and a "G", standing for the initials of Western Gallery. The rigid box style of the logo was inspired by the architecture of the gallery space.
