This was a type specimen for “Corundum” by Joshua Darden. Corundum is a transitional serif that’s main purpose is for body text. The main inspiration for the type specimen was classical human anatomy books, which paired nicely with the type face. The goal of the design was to show Corundum in different scenarios at different sizes, all within the metaphor of human anatomy.
