This was a concept title sequence for the documentary The Year Earth Changed. The documentary focused on nature coming out of its shell during the quarantine lock-down. Our team decided to take a hand-crafted approach and use practical effects. All the animals and sets were hand-drawn and cut from paper. The coloring was done using a projector to shine animated gradients on the paper.
